Making UK crime data accessible and understandable for everyone
CrimeSpotter UK is dedicated to providing transparent, accessible, and easy-to-understand crime data for communities across the United Kingdom. We believe that informed citizens make safer communities, and access to crime statistics is a fundamental right.
By visualizing official police data on interactive maps and providing detailed analytics, we empower residents, businesses, and local authorities to make informed decisions about safety and security.
All crime data displayed on CrimeSpotter UK comes directly from the official UK Police API, which aggregates reported crimes from all 43 police forces across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The data is updated monthly, typically with a 2-month delay to allow for verification and processing. For example, data for June would typically be available in August. We refresh our database as soon as new data becomes available.
